The shooting happened while the bus was eastbound between Vancleave exit 57 and Gautier exit 61 in Jackson County, according to Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

The suspect, Rashaad Keimond Price, 26, of Slidell, was captured at 3 a.m. after officers saw him running across I-10.

He was charged with homicide and is being held without bond at the Jackson County jail, according to the sheriff’s department.
