South Caddo Parish bridge will be closed starting Monday for expansion, improvements

A Caddo Parish bridge will be closed later this month. Caddo Parish officials announced Tuesday that the Keith Road bridge in south Caddo Parish will be closed starting Monday, April 22.

This closure is expected to last 90 days.

According to the public works department, the bridge will be replaced for road improvements and expansion for commercial use.

"These improvements will ensure decades of durability, safety and access for motorists that utilize the bridge," a news release said,

Motorists are advised to take Colquitt Road to Keithville-Springridge Road as the alternative route.
