Real crimes

A recent Sound Off said President Biden is being called a criminal when there’s no evidence, then turns around and calls Donald Trump a criminal, despite all the “crimes” he’s been accused of haveing been found to be phony, Democrat-paid-for lies. Nope, the real criminals are Hillary Clinton for destroying court-subpoenaed documents, President Obama using the DOJ to subpoena records of reporters and editors of the Associated Press, using the IRS to oppress conservative groups and trying to secretly send airplanes full of cash to our enemies. Joe Biden has 170+ bank transaction alerts, an admitted withholding of foreign aid until the attorney investigating his son was fired, millions of dollars magically showing up in Biden family bank accounts and weaponization of the DOJ against his political opponents.

Supporting Hamas

No student loan forgiveness for you pro-Hamas protesters. If you are suspended from a university, you should be deported. Your hateful death-to-Isreal and death-to-America chants should get you deported. If you are a citizen, then shame on you.

Border

The lies about there being an open border continue, despite the high level of apprehensions. Republicans and Democrats agreed on a bipartisan bill. Then Donald Trump told his lap-dog party members to turn it down so he can get credit. It’s the truth, even FOX reported same. So stop whining, your fearless leader turned it off.

America first

Bazillions for foreign government aid, but our borders remain unsecured. Madness. President Biden created the Southern border fiasco on the first day of his presidency. Secure our country, then we can talk foreign aid.

We object

Greg Garrison‘s article perpetuates the gross misunderstanding that most United Methodist churches disaffiliated because of the gay marriage and gay clergy issues. For most Methodist Christians, that is a tiny fraction of our concerns about today’s United Methodist Church. Blasphemous seminary teachings about God and His holy Word are far bigger concerns.

Since the Tegus lizard has been seen in Alabama and Louisiana, it must be in Mississippi, because I don’t think it flew over us. Walking slowly from Alabama to Louisiana, I think it’s somewhere in our state.

Healthy workforce

Looks like the decision on Medicaid expansion and the future of a large portion of Mississippi is in the hands of Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann. To me, this is not about legislating morality with insisting on a work requirement but a chance to get the poor folks healthy and keeping them healthy with preventive medicine. Be smart like Arkansas and North Carolina and create a plan that the Feds will approve. Smile and take their money and let’s get the poor healthy.
