Wood pellets

Wood pellets may sound like a good alternative to natural gas, but they are not. The wood pellets produce only a small amount of CO2 less than natural gas. They are cheaper right now, because European countries and the United States subsidize the pellet industry. The only real advantage to wood pellets is that they’re a renewable resource. A big problem with wood pellets is they keep the cost of building materials up. That’s definitely not good for the housing industry.

Ridiculous

Apparently the members of the Republican Party have officially lost their minds. They can’t govern, so their party leader asks extremist Marjorie Taylor Greene to accompany him to Mar-a-Lago to consult with the already convicted ex-president who has at least 50 more criminal charges pending. What planet are we on?

In court

It’s about time for Donald Trump to be brought to justice for all the many laws he has broken or used lies to get around. He has used many women as he pleased and who knows how many were paid to shut up. Now he has broken so many laws that he’s sitting in court, and might soon be sitting in jail.

Boeing

I saw in the news that the Boeing factory in South Carolina was non-union and the workers were afraid to report any problems they saw with the planes. I also that the head of the company was stepping down. I wonder what kind of compensation package he got.

Eclipse ad

I’m no fan of Donald Trump, but the eclipse ad was pretty fun and creative. It wasn’t meant to save the world as the letter writer said. You are real Trump hater not to see this as simple satire. If it would have been President Biden in the ad, you would have been applauding it.

A simple question

If Medicaid expansion is for the working poor, why do they object to proving that they are working?

Medicaid expansion

The Mississippi House wants to give Medicaid expansion health insurance to 200,000 Mississippians who currently have no health insurance. The Mississippi Senate wants to cut Medicaid expansion to 40,000 Mississippians, plus put in a work requirement. So the Senate’s proposal wants to deny health insurance to 160,000 Mississippians. These two branches are going to try to come to a compromise. My opinion is that any good state government will cover all of its people. By cutting off 160,000 people from any health care plan, many of these people will get sick and die. To me, this seems like intentional murder just to make a point about small government. Any compromise will be so cruel and so wrong. Please take the $1 billion from the federal government and use it to help all of your people.
