At Pippa Middleton's wedding Saturday, Prince George and Princess Charlotte served as a page boy and a bridesmaid, totally stealing the show away from their aunt. I mean, just look at them:

But their dad did it first, and in a way sillier outfit. He had the same scene-stealing role as a page boy in 1986, when he was part of Prince Andrew's wedding to Sarah Ferguson. For some reason he was dressed as a little sailor, and gave some side-eye to his fellow wedding attendants as a result:

And he even practiced his royal wave at an early age:

He also posed on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, making a silly face for all the cameras. He's at the bottom right:

During some down time, he got to go out and play with Lady Davina Windsor.

Naturally, William got a gig as a page boy again after that perfect performance. According to People, he wore a pink and white getup for Camilla Dunnes's wedding in 1988.

And his little brother, Prince Harry, was a page boy for his uncle, Charles Spencer Althorp, when he married Victoria Lockwood in 1989. So. Many. Ruffles.

Looking adorable in silly little outfits is clearly genetic.
