Sophie Turner has shared she's "having fun" dating following the split from Joe Jonas.

The Game of Thrones star went official with her new boyfriend Peregrine Pearson in February this year, months after Jonas filed for divorce in September 2023.

"I am having fun dating. It's very fun," the Sansa Stark actor recently told British Vogue.

She reflected on her marriage to Jonas, celebrated in 2019 when she was 23 while the singer was 30. The former couple have two daughters.

"I mean, it's strange when you get married so young," Turner said.

"It's like you never really learn how to date. So it's all very new to me."

After the divorce news became public last year, Turner released a statement asking for privacy for her family.

"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to end our marriage," her message read.

"There are many speculative narratives as to why but, this is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

At the time, speculations over Turner and Jonas' breakup was fuelled by their custody battle over their two children.

In late September, the actor sued Jonas over custody of their children, alleging that her ex had withheld their daughters' passports.

The two stars reached a temporary custody agreement, stating that the children will split their time between both parents.

On screen, Turner will next be seen in upcoming ITV series Joan, in which she plays the main role of Joan Hannington, a real-life housewife-turned-criminal mastermind in 1980s London.

Touted as "awards bait," the drama on the famed jewel thief also stars Fear the Walking Dead actor Frank Dillane.

Joan will air on ITV and be available to stream on ITVX.
