It's no secret that Sophia Bush is a friend to animals everywhere--the actress has been regularly fostering dogs since losing her beloved pet Patch back in August, and it seems as if one of the pups in question recently stole her heart so much that she decided to keep him forever.

The 34-year-old took to Instagram over the weekend to share a photo of her adorable new canine Frankie, who she adopted from the shelter PAWS Chicago. "It's #FrankieFriday. If you've been following along on my snap (sophiabushsnaps) you've probably fallen in love with my foster pup. Well, obviously so have I! Frankie is here to stay. Technically, this makes me a #fosterfailure but clearly I've won!" she wrote alongside a too cute snap of her and the white puppy. "Thank you to Brian and all my friends @pawschicago for doing the work you do and bringing this little lady into my life! And thanks to my Dad for helping me name her after the original blue eyes, Frank Sinatra. #FrankieBlueEyes #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop #FrankieFinklestein #FranklinEleanorRoosevelt."

The Chicago P.D. star later shared another 'gram of the pooch that shows her giving Bush a sweet kiss on the lips, and we can't get over how darling this duo is.

After the #ChefFest it's the #Frankie party 🎤 #AboutLastNight #NameThatTune #FrankieFinkelstein
