This year’s International Consumer Electronics Show doesn’t even officially begin until Tuesday morning but Monday was absolutely packed with big announcements from dozens of companies that were just too eager to wait for Tuesday’s kickoff. Samsung’s huge CES press conference is now behind us and the day will finally wrap up with another huge event from rival Sony. Sony finished 2013 strong with the highly anticipated launch of the company’s next-generation video game console, the PlayStation 4, and it will look to carry that momentum forward with brand new 4K HDTVs, mobile devices, accessories and other consumer devices.
