Here are the songs Paul Simon wrote about Carrie Fisher
Carrie Fisher inspired many during her lengthy career — including ex-husband Paul Simon who, the actress wrote in her autobiography Wishful Drinking, wrote several songs inspired by her and their life together.
The actress, author, and beloved Hollywood badass died Tuesday at 60.
The above song, "Hearts and Bones," was apparently about Simon's relationship with the beloved actress, opening with the lines, "One and one half wondering Jews/Free to wander wherever they choose." Fisher was half Jewish on her father's side.
Another song Fisher claimed was about her in Wishful Drinking was the Simon classic, "She Moves On." She wrote, "If you can get Paul Simon to write a song about you, do it. Because he is so brilliant at it."
Fisher, far more than just a princess, will be greatly missed.
