‘Something about Chicago’: Ronnie Marmo is back in the city with 2 shows at the Biograph Theater
Ronnie Marmo, an accomplished actor, writer, director and producer, loves performing in Chicago.
“There’s something about Chicago,” he says. “I fell in love with this city.”
And now he’s back.
Marmo is now part of two shows at the Christiansen Theater inside the Biograph Theater, located at 2433 North Lincoln Ave. in Lincoln Park.

One show is the return of a previous hit, “I’m Not a Comedian … I’m Lenny Bruce,” the story of iconic stand-up comedian Lenny Bruce, directed by Chicago native Joe Mantegna and written and performed by Marmo. That opens Thursday (March 14) and runs through Friday, April 12.
The other Marmo show is a new one, “Bill W and Dr. Bob,” about the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous, directed by Marmo. That show opened March 8 and runs through Sunday, April 14.
