Sofia Vergara has a lot to be thankful for this year — and yes, Joe Manganiello is one of them

Sofia Vergara has lots to brag about these days. She’s Forbes’s highest-paid TV actress of 2018, making a whopping $42.5 million. It’s the seventh year in a row she’s reached the coveted top spot. Let’s not forget, she’s also married to one of Hollywood’s hottest stars, Joe Manganiello. The two tied the knot on Nov. 22, 2015.

The beautiful couple makes us all sorts of jealous with their picture-perfect Instagram posts. And those sweet captions remind us of our favorite rom-com movies — awww.

The sexy Latina can also add a booming career to her many accomplishments. September marked Vergara’s 10th season on Modern Family.

At 17, the Colombian-born actress booked her first gig, in a Pepsi commercial. Judging by this picture, we’re guessing she didn’t have an awkward phase.

In 2009, Vergara scored the gig of a lifetime playing Modern Family’s Gloria Delgado-Pritchett. The comedic role has had a strong cultural impact for Latinas. “I play [Gloria] the way I see my mother and my aunt behave as Latin women. And now the writers know more about the Latin culture than when I started doing the show, and they know me better too,” she told Time in 2014.

Outside of the small screen, the 46-year-old icon is growing a business empire. She has a perfume collection, is the face of CoverGirl, does Head & Shoulders ads, and recently launched a women’s underwear subscription service called EBY (Empowered By You). Ten percent of net sales go toward loans for female entrepreneurs. “I wasn’t thinking I was going to be a role model for women, so I embrace it,” she told Forbes. Another reason to love her.
