Elmira, N.Y. (WETM) – Snow showers continue into the overnight with chances for accumulation. Up to a half inch will be possible tonight with another half inch possible tomorrow. More details below:

TONIGHT:

Snow chances will continue to be with us throughout the overnight. Skies will be mainly cloudy with lows falling to the mid twenties and a breeze from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

TUESDAY:

Snow chances will persist into Tuesday as well to start off spring. It will be a little on the cooler side with highs only in the lower forties and a breeze from the west at 5 to 15 mph.

REST OF THE WEEK:

Snow will linger into midweek on Wednesday as well as some showers in the mix as well. We will be a bit warmer with highs in the lower to mid forties. We dry out on Thursday as another cold front moves in. Highs will be in the mid to upper thirties along with partly cloudy skies. We will see peaks of sunshine early on Friday to end the work week. Highs will be in the lower to mid forties with snow moving in late in the day and into the overnight.

WEEKEND:

Showers and snow will continue into Saturday to start off the weekend. Highs will be in the lower to mid forties. We begin to dry out on Sunday to end the weekend. Highs will be in the mid forties with mostly cloudy skies.

NEXT WEEK:

Skies will remain mostly cloudy on Monday to start off the new work week along with more warmth. Highs will be in the lower to mid fifties.
