Snoop Dogg and NBA Star Chris Paul Prove They Are Ballers on Epic ‘Lip Sync Battle’ (Video)

Snoop Dogg has dreams of becoming a sports reporter — and on Thursday’s “Lip Sync Battle” he got the chance to take on one of the biggest names in basketball, Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul.

The hip-hop star didn’t go easy on the NBA great and came out guns blazing to Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved,” proving he has a startling similarity to the Jamaican icon.

The eight-time NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist had some smooth moves of his own, however, presenting Snoop with “a little bit of gin and juice,” before ripping into his own classic cocktail-inspired 1994 hit. Of course, the rapper couldn’t resist joining in and sang back up vocals.

Paul then proved that he was just as good at breakdancing as he is are throwing three-pointers when he hit the floor for New Edition’s “Candy Girl,” as his Clippers teammate DeAndre Jordan and Houston Rockets forward Josh Smith watched from the balcony.

Even Snoop was in a haze of admiration afterwards, telling him: “That was phenomenal, that’s going to be hard to top. I am going to have to take you on tour with me, CP3.”

After the pair had tackled reggae, hip-hop and boy bands, Snoop flipped the genre to classic rock with Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” — complete with a mullet wig, bare-chested in a white jacket.

Used always have a lighter on hand, the famous weed aficionado even had fiery pyro — and a dodgy English accent — to complete the act.

Ultimately, Paul is going to have to wait for the next NBA season to have a shot at another championship as Snoop beat him in the final vote.
