‘SNL’ Stars Rip NFL Commissioner Over Head Injuries
Saturday Night Live stars Michael Che and Colin Jost stopped by NFL Live on Tuesday where host Trey Wingo teed them up to take shots at NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Goodell has recently caught flack in the media for being too slow to acknowledge the mounting evidence that playing football causes CTE, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Jost put CTE very simply, just calling it a brain injury.

It started when Wingo asked Che, a San Francisco 49ers fan, what his hopes were for the Niners in the near future. Che said he’d like to see them just keep tanking and tanking, thus garnering higher draft picks.
Wingo responded, “Roger Goodell says there is no tanking in the NFL.”
Che shot back, “Yeah, OK. He also says there’s no cheating.”
Then Jost jumped in, “He also says there’s no brain injuries.”
