‘SNL’s’ Colin Jost, Michael Che to perform in Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — The comedic duo that makes up “Saturday Night Live’s” Weekend Update segment is headed to Denver.

Colin Jost and Michael Che will bring a night of laughter to Denver’s Bellco Theatre on Aug. 24 at 8 p.m.

Jost and Che are most notably known for their weekly Weekend Update segment where they provide satirical comments and parodies about current events. Both comedians have also been head writers for SNL for several years.

The Bellco Theatre show will benefit the Zarlengo Foundation, which is a nonprofit located in Wheat Ridge that supports schools and programs for learning-disabled children in and around the Denver community.

If you plan to attend this funny duo’s show, be sure to put your phone and devices on “Do Not Disturb.”

According to AXS, the event will be a phone-free experience.

“Use of phones, smartwatches, and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smartwatches, and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience,” said AXS.

If you are ready to see Jost and Che live in Denver, get your credit cards ready because tickets go on sale on Friday.

Tickets will be available for purchase on AXS beginning at 10 a.m. on March 8.

The Bellco Theatre is located inside the Colorado Convention Center, and it can seat up to 5,000 people for a staged event.

So, if you want to be among those 5,000 people, be sure to get your ticket at 10 a.m.
