The City of Buckeye Fire Department in Arizona is warning residents about snakes hiding out in pool noodles.

They reported that one of the locals stored their pool noodles against the wall, right next to their pool. Then, the next time they went to use them, a rattle snake popped out. No one was attacked by the snakes, but there were a couple of other young rattle snakes in the noodles.

The Buckeye Fire Department also sated that there have been reports of other types of snakes laying their eggs in the noodles, as well. NO. THANK. YOU.

Looks like pool noodles are cancelled for the summer. Throw yours out and switch to something that doesn't offer a home to venomous creatures. You don't want to take the chance and get surprise the next time you take a dip.
