Each year on March 14, people around the world celebrate Pi Day in honor of the mathematical constant of the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — 3.14159. For many of us, that simply means there are deals on pies and pizzas, and we’re on board with that.

Here’s where you can find Pi Day specials, deals and discounts in the Charlotte area (and watch out for more from our friends at Charlotte on the Cheap):

Birdsong Brewing Co.

Birdsong Brewing celebrating Pi Day with Thoughtful Baking Co., which recently teamed up to offer customers a high-tech farm-to-fridge vending machine at the brewery.

Thoughtful Baking owner Mary Jayne Wilson will be on hand March 14 to offer samples, and if you purchase four pies you can get 10% off. You can choose from items such as chicken pot pies, vegetable pot pies, quiches, seasonal dessert pies and more.

Blaze Pizza

Blaze Pizza is celebrating Pi Day by offering in-person diners who are rewards members an 11” original crust pizza for $3.14.

Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop

Location: 16836 D Birkdale Commons Pkwy, Huntersville, NC 28078

Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop is celebrating Pi Day on March 14 by offering three 4” pies for $14. Customers can choose from a selection of 10 flavors, including signature pies Key Lime, Granny’s Apple and I-40.

“Our pies are infinitely good, so it’s a natural alignment with a day dedicated to an infinite number that makes a circle,” Meredith Layton, co-founder of Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, said in a news release.

Center Theatre PI

Location: 100 Main St., Fort Mill, SC

At Center Theatre PI in Fort Mill, you can get a cheese pizza for just $3.14 when you buy any specialty pizza.

Famous Dave’s

Location: 917 Cabelas Dr Ste 102, Fort Mill, SC 29708

If you pull up to the Famous Dave’s near Carowinds and spend $10 or more, you can get a free slice of pie. You’ll have to mention the offer or use the code PIDAY24 if you’re placing an online order.

Godfather’s Pizza

Location: 3020 Prosperity Church Rd F, Charlotte, NC 28269

Godfather’s Pizza recently teamed up with DoorDash and is celebrating by offering 50% off any pizza with a minimum purchase of $3.14 or more, excluding fees and taxes, from all participating Godfather’s Pizza locations. Just use the promo code PIDAY2024 at checkout on DoorDash from March 14-16.

Marco’s Pizza

Location: Multiple

When you purchase a large or extra large menu price pizza online or through the app at Marco’s, you can use the promo code PIDAY2024 to get a medium 1 topping pizza for $3.14.

North Italia

North Italia kicks off a monthlong Pi Day celebration called a Love Letter to Italy. Through April 10, 10 regional pizzas and one national pie will be available. Charlotte’s pizza called Sunday Gravy has porchetta, traditional meat sauce, potato, stracciatella and Calabrian chili. If you purchase a Pi Day pizza, you’ll be entered to win a 5-night trip to Italy. Details can be found on North Italia’s website.
