Smartphone app systematically removes all pictures of your ex from your Facebook page

    Smartphone App Removes Ex

For many people, Valentine’s Day is a bitter reminder of failed past relationships. But now those people have a way to more easily forget about their heartaches by removing all pictures and status updates featuring their ex from their Facebook (FB) profiles. Business Insider reports on a new smartphone app called KillSwitch that will identify a “‘target’ from your list of Facebook friends” and “will then find every photo, status update, and post related to you and the individual and will wipe all traces from Facebook without them finding out.”

KillSwitch doesn’t permanently delete all past reminders of your love but instead puts them into a separate folder that users can access at a later time if they want. KillSwitch cofounders Erica Mannherz and Clara De Soto told Business Insider that they didn’t want to permanently delete photos because they “don’t see KillSwitch as a vindictive tool but part of a greater healing process.”

The app launches Thursday on both iOS and Android.

Trump lashes out at London's mayor, again

Andy P: I cannot stress this enough, for the benefit of any Americans reading. This man, your president, is lying to you. That he can talk about 'mainstream news media' trying to spin Khan's statement is disgraceful when he is the one doing it. I live in the UK and saw Khan's statement (the FULL statement, not Trump's edited version) at the time he made it on Saturday night. Police in the UK are not generally armed, we have specialist firearms teams but the everyday police on the streets do not carry guns. After the London attack, the police have obviously put all of their firearms officers on the streets in case of further attacks. What Khan said was that people waking up to see armed police all over the streets should not be alarmed, i.e. they aren't there because of an unfolding incident but as a precatution to protect people. That is the context of his statement, from here in the UK. That Trump should seek to use a terrorist attack in London to push his clear anti-muslim agenda is disgraceful. That he should do it by attacking (for the S£ECOND time) the mayor of London, by making up some bull interpretation of his comments, is disgraceful. Trump is a disgrace. Show my country some respect, or just don't speak about us in future Trump. Loathsome individual. Sad!
