Small quake shakes North Bay Wednesday morning

(KRON) — A preliminary 2.5-magnitude earthquake struck the North Bay Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 5.2 miles northeast of Rohnert Park and 6.4 miles southeast of Santa Rosa.

The tremblor occurred at 8:34 a.m., USGS said. People reported feeling the shaking near Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park, according to USGS’s “Did You Feel It?” survey.

FAA issues ground stop for all Alaska Airlines flights

There were no initial reports of damages or injuries.
