‘Small fire’ breaks out in Southwest DC police station
WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS were on the scene of a fire that broke out inside the Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) First District station.
DC Police Traffic said in a post on X just after 8 a.m. that both directions of the 100 block of M St. SW were closed. DC Fire and EMS said a small fire broke out in a room in the police building there.
DC police arrest 4 suspects for stealing from CVS
The fire was extinguished by sprinklers and no injuries were reported.
