A cute baby sea otter at the Monterey Bay Aquarium seriously needed a nap, so it decided that its mom's fluffy belly would make the perfect bed.

Although the baby sea otter was born in the aquarium's Great Tide Pool, a protected basin that wild animals in the bay can access, its mother is wild was using the pool for protection.

On the aquarium's Tumblr account, staff explained that it was rare to see a healthy, wild otter using the pool as frequently as the mother was in mid-December, but on Dec. 20, they noticed that the otter gave birth to a pup, who was captured on the video above the next day.
