Skateboarder seriously injured in crash with Multnomah County SUV

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A skateboarder was seriously injured in a crash with an SUV owned by Multnomah County, according to Oregon State Police.

Officers said the skateboarder “lost control while negotiating a curve” and crossed into the oncoming lane at NE Corbett Hill Road near Reed Road on Saturday morning.

The skateboarder, 29-year-old Zane Everson, was taken to OHSU by Life Flight with serious injuries. His current status is unknown.

The SUV’s driver was unharmed, and the car did not need to be towed.
