According to police, Mormolejo is facing multiple charges, including hindering apprehension, false reports to law enforcement, and other related charges.

Authorities explain in the release Mormolejo is accused by police of interfering with law enforcement’s attempts at apprehending shooting suspect 17-year-old Kenneth Tapia.

Mormolejo joins teenagers Kenneth Tapia and Keenan Ford, along with three juveniles ages 15, 16, and 17, who are charged in the investigation, police say.

Officials say Mormolejo was arraigned on her charges and is being held at the Lackawanna County Prison.
