Six suspects arrested, charged after East Baton Rouge deputies seize cocaine, meth, fentanyl

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A months-long investigation by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of six suspects.

Over the last two months, “EBRSO Narcotics investigated a polydrug trafficking organization in Baton Rouge,” according to EBRSO. They said the “organization is responsible for the distribution of kilogram amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine, and multi-ounce amounts of fentanyl.”

As the investigation unfolded, agents conducted seven controlled purchases of drugs from the organization including cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl, EBRSO said.

Agents were able to obtain five search warrants. They executed those search warrants in East Baton Rouge Parish on Tuesday, May 21 with the help of several divisions and agencies.

The following items were seized during those searches:

  • Two pounds of cocaine.

  • 1.1 pounds of methamphetamine.

  • One ounce of fentanyl (280 lethal doses).

  • 3.4 pounds of marijuana.

  • Cocaine kilo press.

  • Blenders, digital scales and packaging materials.

  • $4,141.

  • Smith and Wesson AR-style rifle (.22).

  • Glock handgun (9mm).

EBRSO charged these individuals in connection with this investigation.

Oscar Carcamo, 22, was charged with eight counts of distribution of Schedule II drug (cocaine), distribution of Schedule I drug (fentanyl), possession with intent to distribute Schedule II drug (cocaine), possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm with drugs and criminal conspiracy.

Harral Dunbar, 43, was charged with distribution of Schedule II drug (methamphetamine), criminal conspiracy, possession with the intent to distribute Schedule I drug (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia and clandestine lab.

Hugo Cesar Santos Figueroa, 33, and Sayra Gabriela Ramos, 23, were charged with possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II drug (cocaine).

Noe Umanzor, 31, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II drug (cocaine), possession of a firearm with drugs and resisting an officer.

Angel Enamorado, 19, was charged with criminal conspiracy.
