Six people transported after crash in Montgomery County

DARNESTOWN, Md. (DC News Now) — Officials said that four children and two adults were transported for treatment after a multi-car crash in Darnestown Friday afternoon.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) Public Information Officer Pete Piringer said that the crash happened on Darnestown Road between Turkeyfoot and Seneca roads. At least three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Five people shot at park in Greenbelt

Piringer said that all six people who were injured were expected to survive.

Some roads were closed for crews to respond.
