Sinkhole patched, all lanes open on US-360 in Charlotte County

UPDATE: 9:38 A.M. CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — VDOT says all lanes on US-360 West are now open after a sinkhole in Charlotte County on April 28.



UPDATE: 9:10 A.M. CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation says one lane on US-360 West is closed after a sinkhole was discovered on April 28.

We’re told the sinkhole is near Cabbage Patch Road, near the Prince Edward County line. The hole was patched on Sunday night.

However, VDOT says the lane remains closed as crews access the road.



CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Drivers traveling on US-360 in Charlotte County can expect delays due to a sinkhole.

Details are limited; however, the Virginia Department of Transportation says the hole is near Cabbage Patch Road, near the Prince Edward County line.

Currently, the west left shoulder and the left lane is closed.
