Alabama 41 reopens following single-vehicle crash: ALEA

UPDATE (5:12 p.m.): The roadway is now open, according to officials with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesperson.

ORIGINAL STORY:

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A single-vehicle crash has caused all lanes of Alabama 41 in Escambia County to close, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

An ALEA news release said the crash happened around 3 p.m. Friday and closed all of the lanes near mile marker 11.

The road will be blocked for an unknown amount of time.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is on the scene and investigating.
