Simon Cowell admits he made a mistake, gives eliminated ‘AGT’ daredevil a second chance

On America’s Got Talent, Bello Nock, a comic daredevil who did not make it past the “Judge Cuts”, was given a second chance at this week’s first live show after Simon Cowell admitted that he made a mistake eliminating him. Cowell shared with the AGT audience, “I basically said this guy deserves another chance based on what he did last time. God only knows what he is going to do this time, but we would like to see him on the live show.” Host Tyra Banks then stated, “I love that Simon says he makes mistakes and corrects his mistakes publicly.” Cowell then jokingly responded, “Ya, but, unlike the others I like to give people a second chance.” It was clear that Cowell wanted to take credit for whatever was going to happen next, because everyone knew it was going to be a great performance as soon as they heard “The Wheel of Death”. Nock was trying to figure out how to up the ante after human cannonballing himself over a helicopter, and the wheel of death was his chosen death-defying stunt. Luckily, Nock survived his stunt, while Heidi Klum barely survived her nerves exclaiming, “Bello, you just freaked me out. It was so scary!” And as for Cowell, he was glad he gave the daredevil a second chance and complimented him, in his own Simon Cowell way. “It was, honestly, incredible,” said Cowell. “My hat is off to you. I salute you. I didn’t like you when I first met you, but I think you deserved your place here. Incredible.”
