Shuffle in Newton County candidate lineup
NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. — Potential candidates still have time to file for office, but in Newton County some are already changing their minds.
Lane Osborn has withdrawn his candidacy to run for Newton County Treasurer. That prompted David Osborn to withdraw his candidacy to run for the Newton County commissioner District Two seat, and file to run for Newton County Treasurer.
As of right now that puts David Osborn on the ballot against current Newton County treasurer Gina Rodriguez and leaves Robert Brunner and Mark Bridges on the ballot for Newton County Commissioner in District Two.
Candidates have until March 26 to file for the August Primary.
