Periods of rain continue overnight into Friday

EVENING: Scattered light showers. Temps near 60 degrees.

TONIGHT: Periods of rain. Low 50.

FRIDAY: Periods of rain. High 54.

There wasn’t much rain for most areas Thursday morning, but we are now seeing more showers moving into the area for this evening and early tonight. Off-and-on showers will eventually transition into steady light rain overnight into Friday morning. Friday features more rain throughout the day. Grand total rain amounts will average between 0.5″ to 1.0″.

The steady rain ends before Saturday, which is good news for outdoor plans Saturday. However, with a lack of drying winds, expect damp surfaces and areas of fog Saturday morning. There is a chance the sun returns later Saturday morning. A quick moving front will bring a few showers to the area after 3pm Saturday, with scattered showers Saturday night. As the front exits Sunday, a northerly breeze keeps us cool with a stray shower or two in the afternoon.
