One injured in Lebanon business shooting

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) — A shooting on Tuesday, March 26 at a Lebanon business left one person injured and another facing charges.

According to the Lebanon City Police Department, around 6:00 p.m. they responded to the Family Dollar store on 306 Cumberland Street for a report of shots fired.

Police say that upon arrival the gunshot victim and the suspect were inside the store. Once police made their presence known and surrounded the perimeter, both the victim and the suspect exited the store.

The suspect, who has now been identified as Octavius Burrus, 22, was taken into custody and charged with one county of aggravated assault (F1), one count of aggravated assault (F2), one count of firearms not to be carried without a license (F3), and one count of possessing instrument (M1).

Police previously said that the gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital the night of the shooting where they are still expected to make a full recovery.
