Shooting in Ville Platte leaves one in the hospital

VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) – The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital after being shot 3 time.

Diocese: 60 children were in Abbeville church when teen with gun entered

According to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office, a shooting happened at Hickory and Chataignier Road and someone was hit by gunfire 3 times. The victim has been transported to a local hospital, but no information on the extent of their injuries. Officials are currently on the scene investigating.

News 10 is in route to the scene and will have any new information as it becomes available.
