Shiloh community residents meet with federal transportation leaders to address flooding

ELBA, Ala. (WDHN) — Recently, residents from the Shiloh community and Doctor Robert Bullard visited the US Department of Transportation in Washington DC.

The residents were able to share their testimony with federal transportation leaders about the flooding nightmare they believe was caused by the State Department of Transportation when they expanded Highway 84 in 2017.

After hearing from residents, USDOT leaders say they plan to visit the Shiloh Community to see the flooding firsthand.

However, a date has not been set yet.
