Sheriff’s Office searching for Savoy car burglars

SAVOY, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office needs help in finding two car burglary suspects in Savoy.

On Tuesday at around 2:15 a.m., the individuals broke into several cars on Lyndhurst Drive and stole items. Authorities said the victim’s cars appeared to be unlocked. No cars were damaged in the burglaries.

While they investigate, officials with the Sheriff’s Office urge all vehicle owners to lock their doors and report suspicious activity to better protect their belongings.
