Sheriff: Fiberglass boat in Wisconsin illegally dumped into lake, left to sink
(WFRV) – Authorities in southwestern Wisconsin are looking for information regarding a boat that was allegedly dumped into a lake illegally.
According to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, on February 26 between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., someone illegally dumped a fiberglass boat into Helena Lake. Officials say the boat was seen on a trailer pulled by a dark pickup truck during that time.
The boat was then reportedly unloaded into Helena Lake and left to sink.
