Sheppard AFB: Aircrew member injured when ejection occurred

An aircrew member was injured Monday afternoon when an ejection occurred, according to a media release from the 82nd Training Wing at Sheppard Air Force Base.

The ejection happened during T-6 Texan II ground operations at about 1:55 p.m. Monday, and the aircrew member was transported to United Regional Health Care System for treatment, according to a Monday evening media release.

An investigation is underway, and SAFB officials will release more information when it's available. according to the media release.
