New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard did not practice Tuesday and it’s looking like he will not play in Thursday night’s game against the Washington Redskins.

Shepard missed Sunday’s victory over the Kansas City Chiefs as he has been dealing with migraines. He was a limited participant in Monday’s practice, attempting to run after undergoing several tests.

“Sterling is not feeling well,” head coach Ben McAdoo said. “They kept him in the training room and they’re taking a look at him. They’re looking at all the possibilities.”

Shepard, who missed two games with an ankle injury, leads the Giants in receiving yards with 457 and is second on the team in receptions with 38.

The Giants will see how Shepard fares Wednesday before making a decision on whether or not he plays against Washington at FedEx Field. If he is not able to go, the Giants have Roger Lewis, Tavarres King, Travis Rudolph, and Kalif Raymond at their disposal.

The only other Giants player who wasn’t on the practice field Tuesday was offensive lineman D.J. Fluker. Fluker spent Tuesday in a boot after a toe injury suffered in the third quarter of Sunday’s game. Although he didn’t leave the game on Sunday, he has already been ruled out for Thursday night and could potentially miss more time.

Another Giants offensive lineman, Justin Pugh, will miss his second straight game with a back injury. Pugh is aiming to return for the Week 13 road game against the Oakland Raiders.

Linebackers B.J. Goodson (ankle) and Calvin Munson (quad) worked on the sideline while the rest of the team practiced. Running back Orleans Darkwa (hamstring), defensive tackle Damon Harrison (ankle), defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (ankle), linebacker Kelvin Sheppard (groin), defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (ankle), and defensive end Olivier Vernon (shoulder) were limited in Tuesday’s practice.
