Shelby GT500 Will Return in 2019 With Over 700 HP
You thought Ford was going to let Chevy and Dodge have all the high-horsepower fun fun? Nope. In 2019, the Mustang Shelby GT500 will come back with over 700 hp horsepower on tap. It’ll be the most powerful factory Mustang ever.

Ford teased the new GT500 at Detroit Auto Show event Monday night, but hasn’t confirmed any other details on this car yet. We’ve heard previously that it’ll use a supercharged V8 like it’s predecessor and that it could do 200 mph flat out. Ford also released a teaser video for the GT500 that doesn't show the full car, but does show it spitting flames. It also looks to have an even more aggressive aero package than the GT350R.
