Shawano School Referendum fails, residents vote no on $54.5 million proposal

SHAWANO, Wis. (WFRV) – Residents in Shawano voted no on a school referendum that failed on April 2’s election.

The referendum was a $54.5 million proposal for facility improvements. No accounted for 57.8% of the votes while yes has the remaining 42.2%.
