Sharon Osbourne has reportedly revealed why she's leaving "America's Got Talent," and it's connected to son Jack Osbourne.
Last month the "AGT" judge Tweeted, "My darling @HowardStern, money is not the reason I'm not returning to @nbcagt, it's because..." leaving her fans hanging about the reason behind her reported departure.
Now - according to Page Six - Sharon claims that NBC let go of Jack from the reality series "Stars Earn Stripes" after he went public with his multiple sclerosis.
"I just can't be fake," Sharon told Page Six. "It's discrimination, and it was badly handled."
Despite reported attempts to work out their issues, Sharon and NBC are parting ways.
"It's time to move on," the reality star, who is reportedly still under contract with the network, continued. "They can't make me do something I don't want to do. All they can do is stop me from being a judge on another network for five years."
On Monday, a rep for NBC had no comment when contacted by Access.
Last month at the Television Critics Association, "AGT" producer David Hurwitz was asked about Jack's involvement on "Stars Earn Stripes."
"Unfortunately, because of the strains and the rigors of not only the show, but also our intense shooting schedule, it was best not to go with him at this time," he told reporters.
Adding, "He was somebody... that we were in talks with, but he did not get penciled into the final lineup. Prior to us making our decision, it was found out that the rigors of the show were too intense for him."
According to Page Six, Jack was notified just two days before he was slated to start shooting the series, in which eight celebrities (including Nick Lachey, Dean Cain and gold medal Olympian Picabo Street) compete in military-inspired challenges for charity.
