Shareef O'Neal - son of Shaq - says he's doing better after scary fall

A couple of days after a scary fall that saw him smash his head on a basketball court, Shareef O’Neal, the son of basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, tweeted that he’s feeling better.

O’Neal was following his own missed shot on Monday night in the first game of his senior season when he appeared to get tangled up with an opposing player and hit the floor – hard. He did not brace himself as he fell.

He was down on the court for several minutes.

On his Twitter, O’Neal, who attends Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, posted a couple of updates:

According to TMZ, O’Neal had 31 points in the game against Beverly Hills High at the time of his injury. He entered concussion protocol and did not play in the team’s game on Tuesday night.

A 6-foot-9 power forward, O’Neal is one of the top 30-40 players in the Class of 2018. He has committed to Arizona.
