WCIA — Illinois forwards Terrence Shannon Jr. and Marcus Domask have been named to the All-Big Ten First Team, the conference announced on Tuesday.

It is the second time in four years that the Illini have had two players named to the First Team, the first time since Ayo Dosunmu and Kofi Cockburn accomplished the same feat in 2021.

Shannon Jr. was named to the First Team by Big Ten coaches, media, and the Associated Press. Domask made the First Team on the coaches and AP ballots, and Second Team on the media list. Domask was also named the AP Big Ten Newcomer of the Year. Senior Coleman Hawkins was also named to the AP Second Team, Media Third Team, and Coaches Honorable Mention.
