Shah Rukh Khan in an ugly row

31 Jan – Things got pretty ugly for Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan in a heated row on Monday with Farah Khan, a top female director, who pointed-the-finger at the 49-year-old actor for a brawl with her husband at a late-night party.

Shah Rukh Khan who starred in the blockbuster film "Main Hoon Na" and "Om Shanti Om", both directed by Farah, has been accused of launching an attack on Farah's husband Shirish Kunder on Sunday Night.

Daily Mail reports that Shah Rukh's attack came in the wake of Shirish's recent tweets poking fun at the superstar's megabudget dud, "Ra.One".

"I went to the party alone, I was chatting with friends when someone pushed me hard from behind and I fell on a couch. When I turned around I found it was Shah Rukh Khan," said Shirish.

"He started saying a lot of things that I feel he said out of frustration. Trying to pin me down, he kept punching me," he added.

While Shah Rukh was unavailable for comment, a Tweet he subsequently posted seemed to suggest that there was nothing wrong at the party.

"Another long nite. Shooting for a public service msg film about education peace & harmony. Feels ironic when I read & see wot is being said," he posted on Twitter.

"Shah Rukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way to sort out a problem and that it means the person who's hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on," Farah said in a statement.

"And it saddens me to see him doing the same," she added.
