STOCKS jumped 1.45 per cent yesterday — their best rise in six weeks — in line with a regional advance following a positive lead from Wall Street.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 331.13 points to 23,197.83 on turnover of HK$52.60 billion.
Tencent jumped 2.69 per cent to close at HK$118.20 , Sands China was four per cent up at HK$57.2 and
HSBC added 0.19 per cent to end the day at HK$79.80.
Cathay Pacific jumped 0.98 per cent to HK$14.40, China Mobile added 1.07 per cent to HK$75.35 and Henderson Land put on 0.33 per cent to HK$46.15. AFP
