Sexual battery suspect sprayed with gasoline at Hephzibah gas station

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect involved in a recent sexual battery incident at a local gas station.

The incident report states that the man pictured here allegedly touched the buttocks of a woman pumping gas at the Wally’s Gas Station on Windsor Spring Road. The report states the victim then turned and sprayed him with gasoline.

The victim told investigators that the suspect then left and returned to the gas station in changed clothes with a knife in his hand, allegedly stating he was “going to kill her and have a shoot out with the police.” Other men nearby then told him to leave and he left.

The suspect is known to frequent that gas station.
