Several vehicles found vandalized after KTLA writer hears window smashing on way to work

An alert newswriter coming in for his early morning shift on Tuesday was greeted by the sound of a window smashing near the KTLA studio.

The writer was leaving his car around 2 a.m. when he heard glass breaking along Van Ness Avenue south of Sunset Boulevard, directly adjacent to the KTLA parking structure.

No description of any suspect was released, and Los Angeles Police Department officials did not immediately have any information on the incident.
