Several Kentucky counties saw damage as a result of Tuesday's severe storms. What we know

The National Weather Service in Louisville confirmed on Tuesday that there were three tornadoes in the state and they will be surveying the areas where they passed through on Wednesday and Thursday.

NWS Louisville confirmed three preliminary EF-1 tornadoes, and photographers from the Courier Journal went out to confirm damage in other counties.

Here's what counties saw damage during Tuesday's storms.

Anderson County storm damage

NWS Louisville confirmed there was a preliminary EF-1 tornado in Anderson County.

Fayette County storm damage

NWS Louisville confirmed straight-line wind damage in Fayette County.

Floyd County storm damage

Henry County storm damage

Jefferson County storm damage

Jessamine County storm damage

NWS Louisville confirmed there was a preliminary EF-1 tornado in the northern part of Jessamine County.

Mercer County storm damage

NWS Louisville confirmed straight-line wind damage in Mercer County.

Nelson County storm damage

NWS Louisville confirmed there was a preliminary EF-1 tornado in the northeastern part of Nelson County.

Oldham County storm damage
