Seth Rogen named one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors

Even though Seth Rogen’s controversial flick, The Interview, was ushered out of theatres, the Vancouver native was still able to claim a spot on Forbes’ list of Highest-Paid Actors. The star, who is the only Canadian to make the mark, raked in more than $17 million from June 2014 to June 2015.

In addition to his controversial North Korea-based comedy, Seth made his fortune thanks to acting and producing credits on the hit comedy Neighbors, TV’s The League, The Comeback and Kroll Show. Through his success, the 33-year-old actor joins other rich A-listers like pal Jonah Hill, Leonardo DiCaprio and Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. (tag), whose $80-million in earnings has made him the highest paid actor for the third year in a row.

Still, Seth is in some deep-pocketed company. He edged out Hollywood heavyweights like Brad Pitt and George Clooney, who scored a $16.5 million dollar salary despite a quiet year away from the spotlight with new wife Amal Clooney. Also, “It boy” Chris Pratt’s monstrous year at the box office with Jurassic World, The Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy only secured the handsome actor $13 million.

Most recently, Seth shared the trailer for his upcoming project, The Night Before, with his 3 million Twitter followers. “Here’s the trailer for #TheNightBefore which was made by Jews, is about Christmas, and opens on Thanksgiving,” he wrote. The future comedy hit costars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie and features appearances by Miley Cyrus, Kanye West and Mindy Kaling.
