Seth Rogen expertly trolls fervent Trump supporter on Twitter

Seth Rogen is having way too much fun with Donald Trump supporters.

The actor went after Trump superfan Bill Mitchell with an aggressive private message recently, aiming to get a reaction from the conservative personality.

Mitchell took the bait, of course, and a beautiful series of direct messages and tweets followed.

Rogen tweeted some screen grabs from the exchange, in which he riled up Mitchell and then constantly pretended to be in a meeting when he replied.

I triggered Bill Mitchell and then kept telling him I had meetings. pic.twitter.com/clgyHHw2t6

Mitchell then tried to own the situation, by tweeting some of the back-and-forth himself.

Had a private conversation with @Sethrogen which he shared publicly, freeing me to do likewise. There's a reason he plays idiots on screen. pic.twitter.com/9blbfKrp6q

As Rogen's first tweet racked up over 80,000 likes from his 6.7 million followers, Mitchell posted another missive to his 270,000, insisting that Rogen probably isn't in meetings.

The hilarious part about @Sethrogen lying about "being in meetings," is that he actually ISN'T in meetings - at all. Think about that.

Perhaps Seth Rogen's subsequent tweet was inevitable.

Sorry dude, in a meeting. https://t.co/e5GvUb8JyX

This is not the first time Rogen has wrangled the power of Twitter to troll Team Trump. Back in February he messaged Donald Trump Jr., but unlike Mitchell, the Trump son didn't respond.

Too bad, we could've had more gems like, "Intellectually you are punching above your weight class."
