Need services for your pet dog? Bradshaw Animal Shelter is hosting a free wellness clinic

(FOX40.COM) — The Bradshaw Animal Shelter is offering free services for dogs at a wellness clinic later this month.

The animal shelter is hosting a wellness clinic on March 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Freedom Park, which is at 3200 Freedom Park Drive in North Highlands.

The clinic will be held rain or shine and is available to low-income and unsheltered Sacramento County residents.

According to officials, the following services that will be offered are:

•Rabies and DAPP vaccines
•Microchips
•ID tags
•Licensing
•Collars
•Deworming
•Flea prevention
•Treatment of minor medical issues

There is no pre-registration required, but officials urge people to bring medical and vaccination records.

“Please note that for your dog’s safety and the safety of those around you, dogs must be on a least,” the Bradshaw Animal Shelter said on its Facebook page. “Puppies must be in carriers to avoid exposure to parvovirus on the ground.”
